Hi, I'm an 18 year old soon to be HS graduate and I am torn between my two aspirations, physics and computer science. Geophysics is the best choice dealing with the physics side of the spectrum, this is due to me being interested in labwork and outdoors (since I have always been interested in physics and outdoor exploration) the degree in turn eouldnt leave me with lots of wiggle space with few choices to explore and expand. The other side of the spectrum leads me to becoming a computer science bachelor which would leave me lots of wiggle space if I were to ever change my mind and go to another branch (I'm interested in this since I've always had a keen sense for computers, cyber security and ect.). So i am torn since both are offered at my local college, both run about the same length of time to study, and both topics I dearly enjoy, any leads to where I should head, any pros and cons anybody has experienced within these two fields? In advance thanks!
