So after 3-4 months of job searching I've been offered a job (first one ever)! They're moving forward with the background checks and such and have requested references/letters of recommendation. Here's the issue, I've never worked before.
So the HR lead I've been speaking to recommended that I speak with people who know me, college professors etc who can vouch potentially for my work ethic or character.
Given the suggestions, are there others I should reach out to for this? Also how should I phrase the request? I'm a recent college grad from May who started a Master's program in August so it's not been a long time since I left my undergrad campus. I was also a nanny for a family for four years prior to graduating, would they be good people to reach out to? (I still babysit for them infrequently and we're on great terms)
I just really need some advice about who would be good to request these from and potentially a good way to reach out them.
