How can I convince potential employers that I hold skills that are not related to previous positions or my degree? I’m consistently hanging at the application stage.

To start, my degree is in a completely different field than I work in now. This hasn’t hindered me too greatly in the sorts of roles I’ve been working in, but I am looking to move even further into the tech side of things than I am currently, and job listings for those positions often ask for CS majors (or similar) with demonstrable experience in Java/Python/etc. I’ve taken courses for many of these skills on our own internal learning system as well as on sites like Coursera, but my coursework in college was not anywhere near these, and that’s very obvious from my degree. The positions I’ve held also do not rely on these. How can I list these on my resume in a way that convinces potential employers to give me a chance?
