I'm in desperate need of advice about my job search. Any help you can give me would be great. I've really messed this up. I'm an accountant. I left my job with the US Department of Labor in January of 2016 to move back home. I couldn't get another job until October 2016 at Xerox. I was only employed there for six months. I was part of a 25% reduction in force. I couldn't find anything again until June 2018, even then it was only as a temp. The company terminated my contract after a few bad months of business (they offered me a reference).
I can't do this anymore. I've been desperately looking for work. I'm willing to move anywhere. If I don't get a job soon, I think maybe I'm just gonna give up on my entire life. I won't get to any of my goals and I won't have a family. I'm a PTSD veteran and the VA said I should file for disability, but I can't imagine doing that. I'm not putting it down, but I can't do that. Either I work or it ends and it's looking more and more like that latter.
