I have my first onsite interview for an internship in a few days. How do I really make myself stand out?
At my school's career fair, I spoke with a recruiter for a massive company about sales/marketing positions and was invited back for a next-day interview. I honestly didn't think that one went so well, but a few weeks later I was invited to their onsite day for the areas mentioned above. They're flying me out and covering every expense, putting me through several interviews under forty-five minutes apiece, throwing in plenty of Q&A's with employees and leadership in the company and giving us a tour of their facilities.
I pride myself on my public speaking and interpersonal skills, but how can I really make myself stand out and increase my chances both within and without the interviews? As it stands, I'm expecting maybe 16-30 potential interns to be there total and I really don't know what any of our chances are. Sorry if this is a common post around here but I'm pretty nervous!
