Got let go 2 months ago (recruiter said it wasn’t performance based- hurts I won’t know why) Been rough job searching. I crave to build a steady career, need a chance. 1st generation here [no solid connections most people I know own stores etc.] Advice/thoughts? Also is anyone hiring? Worth a shot.
My degree was a B.S. in business administration/finance but I worked throughout college so I never did an internship. My experience led me to more supply chain based roles before graduating and I had two jobs from recruiters that said they were procurement but ended up being more contract management based. Nothing is ever what it seems. People say my resume screams “jack of all trades” but you know what they say- jack of all trades, master of none. It’s been so rough and I’m trying my best. I just don’t know what else I can do that I’m not already doing so I thought I would turn to Reddit for helpful perspectives or wishful thinking, positive leads. I am going stir crazy not working and I have even considered taking a large pay cut just to be working again, this whole situation has been so downing. I’m not one to whine it’s just been a while now and I’m very worried for my professional life. I want to build a future for myself.
