I currently work as a kitchen manager at a very successful restaurant. I've worked in the restaurant industry since I was 16 and I'm considering leaving my current job for a different job, which is a different kitchen manager position. But, I honestly just want to get out. Post Covid, it's SO hard to staff and things are not getting better, and I don't think they will - not anytime soon.
Ideally, I would love to get into some kind of typist/data entry job. I've been an avid gamer my whole life which with online gaming, you learn to type fast and took plenty of classes in high school that got me super familiar with Excel, Office, etc. I even did some schooling in software development but that didn't work out how I had hoped. I'm willing and might even prefer working remotely, especially because my small town doesn't have a ton of opportunity. And me and my girlfriend are buying a new house which closes in the next month, so moving isn't an option right now. I can type over 100+ WPM, especially when I'm actually on my computer frequently. I just need the opportunity, I've been looking around online but they either require previous experience, or they are just some sponsored ad that brings me to some other site where I need to make ANOTHER account, just to bring me to another site. It's ridiculous.
TLDR: Can anyone point me in the right direction for an entry level, typist/data entry type job, probably remote.
