Thinking of giving up the search, need advice

So, kinda a long story, I'm gonna do my best to sum it up. Awhile back (December 2020 to early May 2021) I had an unpaid internship. Now, I needed that to get my diploma, so I was perfectly okay with the knowledge that I was basically being taken advantage of. I was doing 95% of all of their graphic design work for their actual clients the entire time. They then wanted to extend the internship another month (the contract had ended), unpaid, so that I MIGHT get a job offer at the end of it. I declined. Since then I have been applying to 5-10 jobs A DAY 5 days a week. I have had a total of 3 interviews with various companies, and about a billion rejections.

I'm getting tired of it all. I can't apply out of my town because my mom is hella clingy and won't help me move no matter where I'm moving, but will not provide any assistance with ANYTHING ever again if I have to live more than 30-45 min away. Where I live they pay graphic designers kinda shit, and some places, once you've calculated salary to hourly, are offering less than a MCDs job. It sucks. If I could move the the east/south they tend to have a lower cost of living, but pay their graphic designers on average 10k more. But if I do that I will have no further assistance ever from my parents. Which I kinda need.

I am tired, and this tsunami of rejections is just making my depression get worse and worse. Should I just give up trying and get a job in retail or something like that? I don't wan't to do non full-time as the goal of this all is to escape from my family situation.
