To make a long story short I’ve been trying to find a job for month since graduating and finally just got offered a logistics position!!!
The reason for the post is in the first round of interviews I completely forgot to do my research on salary so when she asked me about that I had said 33k-35k (it’s an entry level position)
After doing more research I learned that in my area for that position the range is wide but really between 41k-50k. The HR manager said she would call me in the morning to discuss more detail like salary and start date etc.
I’m really worried they are going to offer me a way lower salary than I should really be getting.
How or what should I say if this ends up being the case? What other question should I ask when she calls me tomorrow? This is my first real job out of college so the whole job offer stuff is unfamiliar to me. If anyone has advice or suggestions please let me know!! Thank you
