Hey everyone, I need some opinions. Covid has affected careers, as it has with many people. In December I left a retail management job after 2 years due to a restructure and not being able to grow into the job I was wanting, and needing a specific degree to get to the next best. I took a month off or so and went to another retail management job, but for significantly less hours. I was promised full time right off the back, but only get about 29-32 hours a week. I have a family and this has really affected my pay.
I recently got an offer to work at a bank and am waiting to tell until my background check clears, but am I an asshole for leaving after only a month? Without saying company names, this has been a company in the news a lot lately with stonks.
Tldr; I feel bad for leaving a job for a way better offer after only being there a few month. I want out of retail hell
