This will be a bit of a rant but I figured this would be a good place for it. A little about me...im a 22 year old male who is trying to find the right fit for a career. Like many in there 20s i dont know what direction to take. Since leaving my last job as a hvac tech (making 15hr) I've struggled to really find what I want out of a job. We all can't have what we want, but I want to make sure at the least im happy. I have a job making 10hr now but there is no real potential for growth. Pay isn't necessarily everything for me but I want to be able to live comfortably. I stress a lot when I think about the future because I feel im going to be in a rut wherever I go. I know there's no free handouts, you need to struggle to really get ahead. And experience is everything. Im sick of job hopping but I want to make a change in my life. Im wiling to hustle and work my ass off for the right company position. But breaking your back to be walked over isn't where I want to see myself down the line. Anyone have any stories of how they personally found the right job for them? Or how you went from struggling to live to now living very comfortably.
