I work at a job that pays relatively low (for EdTech industry). Liveable but a good $10-20/hour below my qualifications. $10/hour below pre-Covid job.
Pros:
-
Nice boss who leaves me be and respects me
-
Flexible schedule
-
Easy work
-
10% top up for no benefits (not an issue with universal health care)
-
WFH 100%
-
Zero, I mean zero drama
Cons:
- Union with no hope of a raise (I was given the top of the grid because I'm technically overqualified)
It's got me thinking whether I should bother to continue looking for a better pay job or if I should just be satisfied with where I am.

Does anyone work in a relatively low-paid job that is good? Do you stay or consider moving on?
