I saw the recent AskReddit thread about "settling" after chasing a dream job, and that's really all I want. I don't want to be a manager, I just want to be the little guy that works a basic desk job doing the same or similar things every day and make decent to good pay.
Do these jobs exist? I'm still in early college right now, working a part time bank teller job, and I love it. I come into work, perform the same actions everyday, and go home not worrying about work after I clock out. I make $18.50 in a high cost of living area. I'm currently going for pediatric nursing (something I do want to do) with the intention of being a telenurse or working in healthcare admin later, but is there something better?

Is there a basic, little man administrative job/career that pays decently?
