I am a recent graduate with a degree in public health. I am not the best with microsoft office other than word and most jobs require proficiency in that. I am sure I can learn it easily, but I am still scared I will mess up. I basically need a job where I can make 45,000 minimum asap due to personal life reasons. Basically I am still living with my family, but the bread winner may lose their job due to mental health reasons and is suicidal :( without them and me continuing to have just a part time, we may not be able to live in our current apartment and it would completely ruin my credit. it's a lot of pressure to get a job asap. I have a good job at a call center for those suffering abuse, but it is only part time (29 hours) where I only make 28,000, 23000 after taxes. I dont think they will have a full time position soon that I am qualified for. The only ones avaliable are upper management positions. If you know of any positions in the dc Virginia area that are entry level let me know.
I have an interview coming up where their pay is 40,000 and it is similar to what I do,but I could always just do uber on the side for the extra 5k idk. Anyways with this particular job if I get hired they would want me to start training the 1st of November and that is non negotiable. I am scared that if they do want to hire me that they will let me know too late to give my job a two weeks notice. I wont take a job that leaves me on bad terms with my current job. Also, is it sort of sketch that as they are training me they would only pay me 14. I thought that was weird and I know they are a non profit, but is that a warning sign? Should I even interview with them? They emailed me today about setting an interview and laid out everything from pay etc
