Help with Interview/Life Career Guidance, Any Advice

Hello Reddit,

Background: various labor jobs dealing with wine, few retail, and property management. No fraternal experiences/internships during college due to mainly just trying to become a first gen graduate and focus on grades. Bachelors in Business Management, minor in Project Management. Introvert, but feel enjoyment and motivation working in a team environment.

I was wondering if there was any possible way to ask/elude to a recruiter/hiring manager/interviewer a couple of questions. I’ll be forward and frank in that, like many others, did not have the best guidance growing up, nor do I have much support in terms of money, and being a graduate this past May (2020) I kind of fucked off after the Rona hit and it through my school work/networking a job near impossible with this lingering depression, which has only worsened as now I am unemployed, stuck in a lease, and wish to somehow further make my situation better.

I have an interview with a company that is 2 hours away, so relocation would basically be necessary, how can I explain my situation (being broke, and stuck in a sense) explaining that I really cannot afford the move there. They do have a location where I currently live but it would appear that the opening is for a different position.

Secondly, I live in California and never really thought of actual medical benefits to cannabis until now, after going through a lot of trauma and losing my house to a fire a semester or two before graduation really threw a stick into my already fucked up tire that is life. So like any other college aged student, I started to smoke pot here and there and I have noticed that doing so does improve at least my focus, attention to detail and helps to remove much of the anxiety and over panic I experience during my day, I feel like my mind is always racing and it sort of brings me peace. That being said…. How (if I were offered a position) convey that there is likely no possible way I would pass on a theoretical pre-employment drug screen. I understand that most people probably would either try and use synthetic or something but in honesty, I feel like throughout my life it is easier to just be honest and forward. These people view me as an investment, so I don’t want to burn bridges before they are built.

I just would really like to improve my situation, living alone and overall 2020 being a shit storm has really put me into a hole that just feels like its getting deeper and deeper.

TLDR: Advice on job search, pre-employment screening, interview questions, life improvement, Tom Cruise help me.

Thank you, I'm open to DMing my Resume for any advice on that as well.
