Hey guys/girls, I just wanted to first start off and say this reddit page has been super helpful with all the advice and stories pertaining to anything job related. So I just received my first job offer last week after graduating college 2 years ago and am really excited. I haven’t excepted the offer yet, as I asked for some time to give a decision. However, I just had an interview for another job today that has a base salary as job 1 + possibly 20k more in commission. I am supposed to give my decision for job 1 asap, but my second round interview for job 2 is next week. What are my options in regards to handling both? I don’t want to accept job 1, then possibly get an offer for job 2, and cancel on job 1 and burn bridges/cause havoc. I am afraid if I prolong my decision for job 1, there’s a possibility they may rescind the job offer. To be honest, I like both jobs and think both of them have growth potential, but job 2 has more potential for a higher salary. Any advice or recommendation would be really appreciated!
