Need a better job

I've been applying for jobs over the course of the lockdown and haven't had any success. I need something that pays at least $15/hr but all of the postings I've seen recently require several years of experience in fields I'm not familiar with of licenses and certificates that I've never heard of.

For example, medical front desk jobs all pay well enough but they require several years of experience with Dentrix or other front office software. They also require several years of insurance verification.

I've been working desk jobs for the past 6 years. Am I applying for the wrong jobs or should I be trying to get experience in other areas?
