I just graduated college and am now looking for a job in my field, and I just wanted someone extra input on this. I’m taking a gap year before I go to law school and hoping to get a job in something legal/government related. I have an interview next week for a job in the legal services department of a government agency and I’m sure they’ll ask why I want the job. The real answer is that it would be really good experience before I go to law school next year, but should I or should I not mention that at the interview? Do you think they’ll immediately pass on me if they know my employment is temporary? The job is an entry level position btw.
