work study jobs in college

This is my first year at my University, with two jobs on my resume but nothing particularly relevant for what I want to do (either public policy or finance.) I have a work study job offer related to tutoring that's completely unrelated to my career goals, and I'm not positive if I should accept it. Do these sorts of things even matter on a resume for a future job, or should I only be considering doing things related to my goals?
