I'm unfortunately still unemployed from my previous job as a digital press operator here in Pennsylvania. I worked for $10 an hour but now I'm obviously still on unemployment. With that said, my mom is practically pressuring me to take on a part time job at the very least.
I'm gonna uses the phrase "I make more money off unemployment" here because it's true. And it's not that I don't want to work, she just expects me to take a part time job now and save up for a place of my own (which is basically impossible due to the crazy rent prices even for a decent apartment in a decently safe area).
With that said, I'm trying to think of some jobs that pay over $10 an hour while also maintaining a decent amount of hours per week as well.
From what I've been finding, it seems Target pay close to $13 an hour starting wage but the hours are either dry one week or there's a flood of hours one week. Another thing I was thinking of was bartending but I don't have any knowledge/experience of mixing or really any restaurant experience besides one year at Cracker Barrel my senior year of high school a hostess. I do, however, have really great customer service skills.
