Not sure if I should start applying for new jobs. I like some aspects of my job, but not other parts.

I have mixed feelings about my current job and I'm not sure if I should start applying to others. I've been keeping an eye out for other jobs but it's always hard to start applying.

I like my current supervisor and some of the projects I'm working on. I'm also about to start a new project that sounds interesting.

However, the group is fairly unorganized and my supervisor is so busy he often doesn't know all the stuff I'm working on. I've been really busy lately and ended up making a mistake on a project. I feel terrible about the mistake and I feel like it wouldn't have happened if I wasn't so busy. I've let my supervisor know that I've been busy lately, but I don't think my workload will change.

I've been at the current position for two years, so I feel like I've been there long enough without looking like I'm job hopping. Does anyone else have mixed feelings when applying for jobs? I've never been someone to just apply to positions on a whim, but maybe I should start.
