I know almost everyone is on a hiring freeze right now, but I want to do some research and look at job postings and basic qualifications required. I want to get out of America and experience life in another country (among many other reasons for leaving).
Do you have any advice or resources for Americans who are looking to live and work abroad? I'm pretty much open to everywhere, but I'm most interested in Japan, U.K., or Ireland (strange mix, I know).
Or could you maybe even speak on your personal experience working and living as an expat?
I'm convinced that finding a job and moving my life overseas is near to impossible, but I'm at the end of my rope. I need to do something. I have a bachelor's degree in English and a masters in a useless field. I've been out of college for about 5 years now and I don't think I could reach out to the career development center(s) for advice.
