Was recently furloughed for a few months _ due to "covid/financials" though the company letter says "when and if" I return... I was with company almost 3 yrs, cane in strong as a top performer and was always excited about my work. My boss talked me up saying jow she loves me and if our team I was 1 of her 2 faves. I was the only one furloughed on my team. Needless to say my ego hurt and I was gutted. I'm already applying to new jobs and even if asked back knoww that I'd have trust issues with my boss and always be wondering if I'd be let go again since I was the only one from the team that was axed/furloughed. So... I am going into to clear out some items from desk. Should I remove everything and treat this as "leaving job" in case they tell me my job is termed? Or shall I leave some persona items stuff there? I'm also embarrassed to go back in the collect stuff eventho the office is mainly empty due to covid but I dont want people rummaging through my stuff. Will it look bad if I go in to get stuff?
