I’m in Louisiana where we just had hurricane Laura. The day after the hurricane my employer asked us to go into work and had us do other jobs that are not related to our usual jobs because of the hurricane. Because all of our other locations were closed due to not having power, they asked all employees from different locations to congregate in one store because it’s the only store open in the area. The issue is that the store is extremely small.. it’s a gas station. And they’re letting customers come in without limiting how many are in the store. The other day we had like 60 people in the store at the same time. Everyone is required to wear masks but some people obviously don’t wear it correctly and some people use their shirts to cover their mouths and nose. I’m so scared of catching covid and this has caused so much anxiety. I’m not sure what to do in this situation. Advice is welcomed.
