My recent unpaid furlough is supposed to last a few months, per my boss, however the letter given to me says "if and when" furlough ends, doesn't mention a return date and gives mention that there is no way to determine yet whether it will turn into a permanent lay off. They're paying my insurance. Ive already begun looking for new jobs as I don't want to wait around 5 months especially if they never call me back. If I find a new job, do I need to resign. If I do, do I have to give 2 weeks notice?
