I just started my job and I really like it so far, but god I feel so stupid and honestly it makes me really anxious and terrified that I won't be able to keep the job for much longer before my boss realizes she made a big mistake. I'm a very hard worker, but I'm a slow learner and often need things repeated to me a lot before it sinks in (yes that's on top of taking a lot of notes). I just feel so dumb when a coworker is training me on something for example and they have to explain it so slowly to me for me to understand- it makes me feel like a five year old. And then just when I start to get slightly comfortable, something else is thrown at me that I don't understand (there is now one piece of software that I have to learn that I'm absolutely dreading- i look at it and basically see the visual gibberish). Can someone like me catch on even though I'm such a slow learner? It's such a competitive world that we are in and I'm scared I'm going to blow my chance because of all the intelligent, fast learners that surround me. :(
