So after a year and a half since I graduated and unable to find a graduate position I decided to look elsewhere and came across a government apprenticeship program where you work, get paid and study at the same time. I figured this could be a good opportunity for me to retrain and have a job at the other end. However, this program didn't really have any requirements and at the interview, there was 3 of use. One of them was a young lad, looked like he just finished/finishing highschool. When I saw him, I felt terrible. Why am I competing with this guy? It seems unfair given my degree and work experience and I felt like such a chump. On the other hand though, the other guy was significantly older than me, easily more than double my age.
