Hey everyone!
So, I’m originally from Boston but me and my family moved abroad when I was little, and besides some short trips, never returned to the US.
I’m graduating college this year and I would like to move back to the US for a sales internship, or a sales job (I really want to work with sales), and hopefully start building my career from there.
The problem is that I don’t have an American degree/education, this has raised some issues already as I had to pass the TOEFL test to go on an exchange program in Italy.
I was fortunate to have gotten an internship in an international tech company, I worked for the sales team and got to learn a lot from them, the problem is that I don’t have practical sales experience, and the competition for big tech positions is fierce. What I have going on for me is that I have a lot of international experience and I'm currently learning a fifth language.
So, do you guys know anyone in a similar situation? Should I just apply for jobs normally and add to my CV that I’m a US citizen and won’t need a visa? Where should I start looking? If you guys also have any tips, I would love to read them :)
Thank you for your time and have a great evening!
