Hi everyone!
I had my 3rd interview for a tech company this past Wednesday and I believe it went well. It was with the CIO, 2 Directors, and 4 other managers as a panel interview and lasted about 1.5 hours. At the end of the interview, the CIO jokingly asked "so when can you start"? And told me that this team of leaders would provide a great learning experience for me and it would be a good opportunity since my main priority discussed in the interview was to learn and grow all I can. He began talking about the background check and it taking roughly 2 weeks. He then told the hiring manager (also on the panel) within the video conference to fill me in on the details. After the panel interview, my hiring manager asked me to stay back with his boss and another manager to discuss the more details. He said they will let me know a decision by the end of next week and proceeded to discuss the background check and that the role has moved remotely since COVID-19 and that I would have to come by the office one day to pick up the equipment and laptop.
I do not want to get my hopes up and I have continued to apply to another jobs. But are there any good signs here?
TIA!
