I’ve been doing a job in an acting capacity for 3 years with good performance reviews. I got promoted to the position officially 6 months ago and am on probation for a year. Last week I get a meeting request from My boss with only him and myself in the invite. When I showed up it was him and his boss. He began by saying he questioned my loyalty and called me ineffective , he then went through 2 pages of issues, which were mostly things very minor and some from long ago, none of which he ever talked to me about . I was in shock and wanted to cry. His boss said he was surprised to hear all these things and disappointed. The meeting ended with my boss saying he felt better and was dreading this meeting. He then gave me a really bad performance review and action plan, which was vague and inaccurate. All along I thought I was doing well as that was the only Feedback I had gotten. My boss is known to be crazy and drive people away. I don’t know if I should stick out my Last 6 month or just resign and go back to my previous position . I don’t see how I’m gonna change his mind.
