Long story short, I am an American living overseas trying to get a job in America in my field. This field being accounting/economic/finance area. I have 1 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree.
The catch is I have a 4 week notice period, and every time I apply for a job I get denied. I feel as though this is because my address is based overseas and most companies want someone to start within the month.
Secondly, I feel as though if I quit and move back to the US without a job, most employers will notice my employment gap and consider me as a bad applicant as I will be "unemployed."
It feels impossible to be able to find a company that will take me in my situation.
Im happy to hear your input/advice :)
