I'm starting a new job creating and running training programs for people who want to work in my industry (not saying which to stay anon, but if you have specific questions I'll do my best to answer). I have a great background of doing the job myself for a long time, and since I've been a manager I've participated in onboardings and done one-on-one coaching and feedback with my staff, but I want to think about how I can be really great specifically at the process of training people who are totally new to this field.
Does anyone on Reddit feel like they've ever got really, really good training at a specific job (and why was it so great)? Or do you feel like you were trained badly or ineffectively and again, what made your training bad? Thanks!
