Trying to approach current employees with questions regarding interview process. How to?

I've a video interview which might go for 2hrs as per the HR. I'm very curious to know if there'd be any case studies or such as i'm unaware of a 2hr call for a planner role. I'd like to know if i can approach any current team member on linkedin asking about the interview process? What can i ask/not ask? and would it called 'canvassing'??
