Resume/Coverletter help - online handle vs real name

Hello! Basically, I'm an artist looking for full time work and starting to apply for jobs. Trouble is that I use an alias name for posting my artwork online on my portfolio website (and social media too). So while my name might be Jane Doe I have been going and selling prints and making a portfolio website under the name Gemma Star (for example). This means my portfolio (and all social links) are under my alias and not my real name.

I'm not sure if it's something I need to mention in a cover letter? Just because the confusion of the resume/coverletter being from Jane Doe but linking to a portfolio site of someone called Gemma Star.

I have the alias because I want to remain separate from my online art persona (just like how some authors use a pen name) but I understand that this could also lead to a lot of confusion if companies google my real name and nothing comes up.

Does anyone have any advice about how to handle this?
