I recently started a new job (four months ago). I was on a probationary period for three months and was supposed to have a review at the end. My department is just my supervisor and me. I never got the review and didn’t know how to bring it up. My coworker (who works in a different department) just had her review and said it was a really formal process where she had to sign off that her and her supervisor discussed her performance and the review was factual. Now I’m wondering if my manager possibly submitted a review without my knowledge? We all work for a major university but are in different sub-departments working for the same larger department (sorry if that’s confusing). This is my first real job after school and ive never had a formal review before. I hate conflict. Should I or how do I ask her for a review or if a review was submitted?
