Adding an extra year to my current job on my resume?

Long story short, I’m in a job where I currently have 2 years of experience in. The year before, I worked at Google, but quit on bad terms with the team, and completely disregard that experience on my resume.

I’m looking into applying for a job which requires three years of experience in my current field, yet I only have two. I’m thinking of adding one year of experience behind my current start date to get the minimum three years.

Currently, I am unable to get promoted due to office politics in my current job, yet am responsible for teaching seniors and managers how to do and review their work. I am currently maxed out in my position and am waiting for one more year to be promoted (because you can be promoted only after a certain timeframe).

If I apply to this other position and expand my years of experience, I can potentially get my promo a year in advance.

I am capable of spitting out “three years of experience” talk during interview as well.
