I just started with a new company where I receive an annual bonus. Will I get in my first year?

I started in August and I've never had a job that paid bonuses. All I know is that bonuses are on an annual basis, not sure when in the year. With that said, will I get a bonus in first year? I'm sure it widely differs, but we're a well-known tech company
