I was laid off at the end of 2018 for work in my related field. I picked up an event planning job because i have some experience and have been doing that for 8 months. Now that I got a new job back in my field and am relocating to California for it, they're going to do a background check. I didn't find it relevant to my interview process and it was hurting my chances because of it being outside my industry so I took it off the resume. Should I be worried that I didn't mention this job at all?
