I know it's a shot in the dark, but I figured maybe there's something.
I'm 19, currently homeless (employed, but homeless), and I have a high school degree. I am completely and utterly alone in life--outside of work, I don't get human contact.
I want to travel. I always have, and I always will. I've been to 27 states and 2 countries in the last couple years alone under my own power (yes, even though I'm broke) because I love travelling that much.
My issue is, I also love not having a bank account in the negatives.
So I'm looking for a job that will take me around the country, continent, or even the world. It doesn't have to be a six figure job. It just has to be something that can keep me from starving to death. That's all I want. A deckhand for a cargo ship, or a steward for an airline, or whatever. I don't care, I just can't bare to be here anymore. I want to escape my old life and start over.
I've thought about the Navy, but I'm not entirely confident about signing my life away to the Fed for 8 years. Still not out of the question though.
Again, with me being so young and only having a high school education, I know it's unlikely there's anything out there for me. But.....I figured I'd ask.
TL;DR: looking for a job that will take me places, doesn't have to have great pay as long as I can survive
Edit: I want to be a truck driver, but no one wants to hire someone under 21.
