Commute - Torn

I'm curious what everyone's commutes are like? I live in a small city, I'm looking at purchasing a rural property with some acreage about 30km away from my job. My commute will turn into a 30 minute drive (rural roads). Right now, it takes me less than 5 minutes to get to work.

I'm torn, I'm wondering if moving will be worth the extra commute. Not sure if anyone else here has been in a similar situation, and can give some context.
