Had my first phone interview with a recruiter today, funny thing is I applied to the position the night before. The only reason I got contacted was because I fully read the posting which said to send the resume etc to their email. TLDR, make sure you read the entire posting.
Make sure you are reading the entire post and when it says to send the email directly to whoever, do that. The recruiter said it makes a difference and in my case, didn’t end up as just another resume on the stack. I feel like I got my foot in the door, and hope this information could be useful in your search. Best of luck to all of us searching for jobs.
