So I have an upcoming working interview this weekend. I applied a week ago for a server and/or bartender position and told one of the managers that those were one of the roles I wanted to apply for. They have multiple openings for every role. They called me back 2 days later to set up a working interview and I would be working as a runner.
I would like for a chance to work as a server/bartender at this place but I can’t take a pay cut from my current job just to be a runner. I have years of experience and I meet all the qualifications.
How would I go about convincing the manager I want the server position instead?
