I recently left Verizon after many years (took their enhanced layoff package) and looking for work now. I'm already getting a feel for how worthless recruiters are. Talked with a young recruiter last Monday. We talked about the job and I was actually a perfect fit for this position they were trying to fill We discussed hourly rate and went back and forth a few times and she said she'd have to go back to her management to see if she could get more money. Didn't hear a peep after three days, so I emailed on Wednesday. Here it is Saturday and still no word from her (think that's a great example of the proverbial "ghosting").
My question is, are there any decent, reputable recruiting companies out there that are worth dealing with (in regards to Information Technology / specifically positions dealing with Cisco router and switches)?
