I recently graduated college with a engineering degree in December and been looking for a job since November. I recently received my first job offer yesterday for a job I’m not too thrilled about but for good pay. If I take this job I feel that the job would not help me with the route I want to go down for a career. People been telling me any job is a good job, because you get experience or since it’s a large company it’s a good place to start. But I feel like I would be stuck with similar dull jobs for the rest of my life. I do not want to rush into my first job but I feel like I’m being pressured in from the people around me.
I been interviewing and looking at other jobs I know I would love. In which I have multiple leads with. I am very conflicted in whether I should take this job since it’s in front of me or decline it and hope I can receive an offer that I know I will love. If anyone can shed some light and give me advice I would really appreciate it.
