Accepting a Job you Know You're not Qualified For?

Hi Reddit,

Need some advice here. I was just offered an Accounts Manager position. It's a better opportunity than what I have now by far, however, I'm worried about not being qualified/ not having enough experience. I have done very basic accounting/accounts payables, however, this position requires doing (I'm in Canada) WSIB, HST/GST and other tax remittances that I've NEVER done before.

I'm shadowing the current girl for 3-4 months before she leaves. I'm wondering if this is something I can learn while shadowing or if it's wise to accept this position without knowing how to do some key responsibilities?

TL;DR Should I accept a position that I know I'm not qualified for, even though I'm shadowing for 3-4 months prior to the other girl leaving and could possibly learn?
