So I interviewed for an IT help desk position awhile back. I thought I did pretty well. I email back in a week asking for a status update. The HR person says some of the staff were out of the office and to check back later. 2 weeks past and she said one of the staff was on a business trip. Two weeks later (yesterday) I email again and the HR person apologized for the delay and told me to check back the next day for next steps. Well today came and gone, and nothing from them. Is this normal behavior from a hiring company? Are they just stringing me on or what? BTW, the job listing is still posted on their website.
