Tips for landing an HR job without direct HR experience

I have 6 years of restaurant managing including 3 being in charge of all the business aspects (small store) and from people I have spoke to a lot of that lines up with HR work.

I'm looking to transition my career into HR and am looking for an entry level HR position or some kind of assistant position to start but feel like without a degree in HR or without a certificate my application automatically gets rejected.

Any tips to avoid this? Even if I tailor my resume ot feels like it's not getting looked at.
