Recently signed a job offer but my current employer told me that they might offer me a raise. Thoughts?

I applied for this job about a month ago because my boss was making the workplace miserable. Turnover was sky high in the month of August. However, a couple of weeks ago, she left and things have been improving.

I continued to go through with the application because they were offering greater starting pay. I signed the offer just yesterday. The catch about this job is that are only hiring part-time. So I thought I’d try and work both jobs.

Both employers are really flexible with scheduling so I went in to change my availability. My new boss saw the request today and asked me to give it a day to see if they can offer me something. We briefly discussed pay and maximum hours.

If I get offered something good in return, do you think I should just stay with max (full-time) hours and a raise or try and sneak in some extra hours at the other job? What would you do?
