After four interviews, one with the VP of the company, I got a rejection after I followed up after not hearing back.

I had great interviews everytime, so I'm baffled as to what went wrong. What bothers me the most is they checked my references. So now I have to keep using the same references and they'll keep knowing I didn't get the jobs Im are applying for. Plus the reference forms they had to fill out are two pages. This has happened with two out of the three interviews I've had.

I had such a great feeling about this one and it just blew up.

I know I'm supposed to not get attached but it was hard when all signs pointed to yes.

It's so exhausting interviewing as well as I have severe interview anxiety.

Ugh just needed to vent 😥
