(UK) Was a full-time carer for 2 years then Covid came around 100 applications with no responses at all

Hi all ,

As the header says i was a full time carer for a family member since January 2018 and unfortunately that loved one passed at end of 2019. Ive been struggling to even get any response for any roles ive been applying for . Ive got experience working in a customer-service retail role that has a-lot of admin roles involved for nearly 3 years prior to me being a carer. I Ideally want to get into a NHS (hosptial) admin role but just keep getting ignored completely when applying.

Ive also been applying to other roles outside of my ideal location and the same happening. The worst part about it is that my work coach from Universal Credit is on my back about getting a job .

I just wanted to mention i was born with a foot problem where im unable to stand on my feet all day as my left foot would swole and cause me to limp and takes like a week to heal before i can walk on it like normal otherwise i would have found a job in a retail role.

I understand COVID is a big issue right now but its just so frustrating getting a job

Is there any tips or suggestions i could do?

Any help would be appreciated
